CRAP! He Doesn't Speak English?

Japanese people are pretty awesome. Hah, just kidding, I wouldn't know. That is because they don't speak english. Well, not the ones that I met today. Some of them did, but they're vocabulary was small. It kind of went like this:
"Can you write love?"
*rapidly shakes head
"Oh... okay..."

At the mall:
"So what stores do you want to go to?"
*blank stare

And later...

"What do you want to eat for dinner?"
*Cold blank stare

and then finally Shandon (what kind of name is that?) asks the dude:
"Can you speak english?"
*rapidly shakes head

So yeah. That was awesome. They were cool though. Very fashionable. All we did those was walk around while they got excited by Longs and the ABC Store. I can't blame them, though, souvenir shops gets me pretty darn excited.
I am really tired. And I still have to finish my Algebra II homework and I am pretty sure that Mr. Wong hates me. Oh, and we were assigned our Pahsah (PSA) video today. Yeah, I should be glad I'm not suicidal. Jenna and Gwen, you guys have to be in it okay? Because I need actors (in your case, actresses). Just to be in the background and stuff.

Well, that is it for now. :) Wait, let me find the smile face... nah, too lazy.

THAT'S IT FOR NOW!!! RANDOM HOUSE HHHHHHHHH OH YEAH!!! I HEAR BIRDS.

i'm sorry

I'm really tired right about now, but I want to do this blog thing because I'm trying to keep this streak going as long as I can.

Let me sum up my day for you.
Woke up and almost forgot to bring my other laptop for Gwen. Jammed out in the car on the ride to school. Went to physics or psychics as our teacher likes to call it. Then off to algebra two. Horrible horrible class. (We had to take our mid-term. It's really dumb because it was a short period for us and she went over a bunch of stuff so we only had about an hour. Mostly everyone didn't finish and if you decide you want to complete the test, those problems will only be worth half credit. It was really frustrating, but luckily I was one of the lucky ones who finished.) Went to a newspaper meeting and I was assigned to write an article on the Spartan Cabaret, a play we put on every year. Went to freshman seminar, a class that I despise because the teacher doesn't really do anything other than yell at us and go on her laptop/phone. (We think she's pregnant. I mean that in a non-offensive way. She's not abnormally large, or anything.) Walked to my mom's office to find out that I forgot the laptop that I almost forgot at home. Walked back to school. Walked back to my mom's office. Went to get a haircut. (It took about two hours because I got it highlighted, too.) And now I'm here, at home, trying to chillax.

That's actually not as short as I previously thought it would be.

oh my goodness!

I just realized that I'm not the only blogger on this thing!

Lauren (a.k.a. - kewlcucumber65) actually posted something today! It was a little odd to read, but hope she gets better! I'm going to see her tomorrow so it's pointless that I tell her here. And I've tried to post everyday, but I'm noticing that I keep forgetting until about nine. But that's not good because that's cutting it very close! If waited three more hours, I would miss a day! Granted, I'm sure I'll miss a day, but I'm trying to make sure that doesn't happen.

The other blogger, Gwendilyn is having problems with her laptop so it's preventing her from contributing right now. Hopefully she gets it fixed, but she has to use my laptop to read her textbook on a disc thing. So I'm definitely hoping she gets it fixed.

Lauren also brought up another thing that will be talked about a lot, which is books! All three of us love to read. I love to read the least out of the three, but they love to read a lot. So I just love to read. I'm very picky with the books I read because I can't just read a book because I need something to do. I have to be interested throughout majority of the book and that doesn't happen a lot for me.

One book (at this point) that has just blown me away was the Hunger Games. I love that book with all my heart. ALL OF IT. The series is wonderful because there's actual meaning to it other than other authors that just write because it's their job. Not that there's anything wrong with that because that's just how things are, but it seems like Suzanne Collins, author of the Hunger Games really wanted to send a message to her readers. I believe she wanted to show them that violence doesn't necessarily solve the problem, but shoves it aside momentarily. Kids these days are exposed to too much violence and they, meaning the kids, start to appreciate such violence. For example, video games. It's considered appropriate in a game to shoot other people and kill them for entertainment. That's just wrong to me. I understand that it's just a game, but people have to think of graphics for those kinds of things. I don't know. Maybe I'm just an anti-video gamologist or something.

Phew! I had a lot to say today! The Hunger Games will be coming up a lot. At least for me. I know one blogger who absolutely HATES (okay, maybe not hates but doesn't like) the Hunger Games.

I Have A Headache

Ugh.

I hate headaches. Even worse, it's one of those headaches where you feel nauseated. Ugh. Hate it. BUT I AM STILL GOING TO BLOG BECAUSE IT IS MY DUTY (patooty).

I just finished this book called Freak Magnet by Andrew Auseon... it was really good. I'm starting to feel worse so more on the book later.

Well that's it for now! Hope I don't hurl.

i love phineas and ferb! so what?

Yeah. There are so many reasons to not like Phineas and Ferb (like it's a Disney show) but there are way more reasons to absolutely love it!

I think I've been watching Phineas and Ferb for about a year or something. I've completely lost track of time. Anyway! The first time I saw the show, I thought it was absolutely fantastic! It made me laugh out loud! The only other show that's really good at making me LOL is Psych! Oh my GOSHNESS! I love Psych. (But that's for another blog! :P)

Back to Phineas and Ferb! I'm pretty sure my favorite character is Ferb Fletcher or Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. Ferb's actually the one that does all the work on the show! But Phineas just does all of the talking. Plus, Ferb's British and I just have a fascination with English people because, since I live in Hawaii, I don't have a lot of exposure to British things. And Dr. Doofenshmirtz, let's call him Doof, is the one who makes all the jokes. I guess I really like Perry the Platypus because of his multiple personality disorder. Plus he's like the James Bond of the platypus world. In fact, there was an episode where he worked with a James Bond-esque character. It was fantastic.

But this is my advice to you. Watch Phineas and Ferb. It's not as kiddish as you think. Also, watch Psych (when it comes back in... NOVEMBER or) online.

FRUSTRATED.

All right. Before I start, you trust your teacher to give you good information, right? If you replied "yes," I suggest you change your answer right now.

So we have this math project due tomorrow. (In case you were wondering, no, I didn't finish yet.) And our teacher gave us this worksheet to predict the United States unemployment rate for December of this year. She gave us the source and I checked it out. But then, I had to do a double take on the rubric she gave us. GASP! The data is different! But our group has already figured out the equations and whatnot for the data she gave us on the worksheet! Oh no!

So I emailed her, being the perfectionistic person that I am to tell her that she was wrong. But in a far more polite way. At least, I hope it was polite. I was a little frustrated so my brain wasn't functioning properly. So I'm waiting for her to reply to tell me what our group should do. In the meantime, I figure I should just work with the data she gave and if she tells us we have to redo it by tomorrow, I think I'm going to explode and create a giant(er) mess in my house.

Reminder: Just because the teacher says so, doesn't mean they're always right.

P.S. - I am a girl (in case you didn't know). It's just that the clip art that I find are always dudes.

why hello once more!

Saturday Night Live is a fantastic show.

I'm watching this "Saturday Night Live in the 2000's" special on VH1. I can't believe it's been going on since 1975. At least that is the year that imdb.com gave me. Wow, that is the third brand name-ish thing I've said so far. I'm not being endorsed (in case anyone was thinking that). I just wish I was born later so that I could watch from earlier on. I only started watching SNL when I was about eleven or twelve, so I've only been watching a few years. I didn't get to see Will Ferrell or Jimmy Fallon on the show. I heard those two were the best. But I can't really say seeing that I never really saw them on the show.

Furthermore, it's the weekend! Thank goodness! I'm extremely tired of high school. Well, I think it's better than grade school, it's just the homework that I can't stand. We don't get that much, but it's way harder. I guess that's what it's supposed to be though. If it weren't harder, we never learn anything. That's why, when you're playing Wii Sports, the computer person's level is higher than yours'. If you beat them and they have a lower level than you, you aren't really getting better. (Is that really my second Wii reference?)

Anyway! I guess I'm going to be seeing you tomorrow. Well, not seeing you, but you reading what I wrote. Not as catchy. Gotta figure out something better.

hello blog.

Alright so I'm apparently going to be the main blogger and I want to see how long of a streak I can keep this going. And because I have no internet where I am going tonight, I need to blog here, at school.

I'm in this drama play called the Spartan Cabaret with a fellow blogger, Lauren. Well, I'm not really in it, more like, behind it. Yeah, I'm part of the stage crew behind the stage director, Matt Somethingorother. They're singing All That Jazz, but my personal favorite would probably have to be Seasons of Love and they all get so into the song when they sing, too. It's really sad because only two of my friends are here today because the others have other clubs or other school related to do. I don't have much to here so I'm going to support the friends that are here.

There's not much I have to talk about today, just like every other day. If something huge comes up, you'll definitely be the fifth person to know. (Aw man, I'm doing that thing where I think someone's reading again.)

P.S. - They're singing Seasons of Love now! "Five hundred, twenty-five thousand, six hundred minutes..."

random post numero uno

All right! Third day in a row! There's some personal stuff I need to vent about. Names are not going to be used in order to protect the identity of those people.

There's a girl, let's call her Charlotte, who constantly talks to a boy, let's call him Fernando. There's another girl, let's call her Irene who previously liked Fernando (and quite possibly still does) and Charlotte knew. But Charlotte continues to talk to Fernando even though they've never spoken to each other in person. And Irene is pissed. THE END.

You like my story? No...? All right then. Understandable. I would find that story quite boring if I were going to read a blog. But it's actually 11:14 PM. right now, no matter what time the blog says I've posted it.

Today was club day at school and I don't even remember everything I've signed up for. The only thing that I'm absolutely sure of is that I signed up for newspaper/journalism, drama club, and this junior debating or something like that. High school isn't as bad as I had previously thought it was.

And now my mother is getting a little peeved that I'm up playing Empire State of Mind at 11:17 PM. So I suppose I should go. I'm going to sleep and pray my math homework does itself.

Why I Hate High School

Well, since the hot topic of this blog seems to be about school...
I'm going to talk about school too! Oh, and Jenna, I copied your idea...
Like my Happy Bunny picture? :)

Hm, I think this blog is going to be the place where I rant out all the crap about high school. I mean, I already rant to my mom, but still.

Wow, I get off topic very easily... BUT ANYWAY! These are the reasons why I hate high school:
1. What's up with the retarded trimester system? I mean sure, it's less homework, but it's more time sitting in class while the teacher goes on and on about 3 dimensional equations!
2. Assigned seating. I hate assigned seating. I mean sure, it's like the real world. You are put with people that you may not necessarily like. But you see, I'm a spoiled, lazy, do-it-my-way-or-else, average american girl, thus I completely hate ASSigned seating. Especially in Physics.
3. Cramped. That's what i always feel. I have to squeeze my way through people with my big-ass backpack. Not very fun.
4. Hormones and pervertedness are at a dangerous high.

Now, honestly, there are a few things that I actually like about high school. Might as well list them:
1. The uniforms are better, way better. I mean, I guess I was just plain-old sick and tired of wearing the same maroon polo and khaki pants for the last 9 years. Oh, and I can also wear my XXHi Converse.
2. Clubs. I think the clubs are awesome. That way I'm not bored at home. The COO club is epic... I personally think it should be the koo club. Even though that's a last name. Just that coo looks very odd.
3. Wait... Wait... I can come up with a third one... hold on... nope. Sorry.

Honestly, I'm just disappointed that high school isn't turning out like gLee or something. It's very boring. Maybe we should start randomly bursting out into a Journey medley in Roger's Hall... that'll be exciting. Also, there are no brooding guys who are seriously hot. Well we do have some BEAUtiful people. AHAHAHAHAHA get it? BEAUtiful?! That was a pun, so laugh.
I guess I read too many unrealistic fictional books. Stupid unrealistic fictional books.

Well, that's all I have to say for now.

Wait... other people are going to be reading this? Crap.

What kind of name is webding?? LOL! This is so retarded! Gosh, how do you speak in this language? LOL! I think there should be a key for this or something... whoa... look at the dot dot dot well, anyway. Jesus Christ, this looks like a bunch of shit... Okay let me figure this out... The letter A is this thing, A for caps and this thing, a, for lower case... wait i'm lost. HOW DO PEOPLE COME UP WITH WITH THESE THINGS?!?!?! how do you get the ear thing? Is that even an ear?

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
1234567890
,.?:'{}_+<>?"{}|\_+

GOSH! I NEED TO LEARN HOW TO WRITE IN THIS LANGUAGE IN REAL LIFE! LOOKS A BIT DIFFICULT THOUGH... OHH I'M IN ALL CAPS AREN'T I? WELL HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW?!?!?!

FOUND THE HEAR.... IT'S A CAPITOL O!

YAY EARS! OOOOOOOOOH! FOUND THE HEART! LOST IT.... WAIT WAIT... YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

LOL! I "Y" YOU! LOL! GOSH THIS IS LIKE IN FREAKING CODE OR SOMETTHING.... I WONDER IF LIKE, THE FBI CAME UP WITH THIS CRAP...

oh i was in caps... i like caps better... i think it's supposed to be random landscapes? yea... gosh, that is so cool!

Well... i'm gonna go write an actual post in readable english so.... yeah

TEEHEE!!!

LAUREN FTW~ (That's for the win, by the way) :) :) :) :) :) :(

school politics

It's really not a bright idea to let the student body vote for their leaders anymore. If you let students vote for who they want for their student body president, they're gonna vote for their friends and not who they think is best fit for the job.

I'm sure that people once voted for who they thought would be best in that position, but nay. Those days are over. Now it's just, "Vote for me because you're my best friend." I'm not saying that you can't vote for your friend. Maybe you truly think that your friend could do the best job and if that is indeed the case, so be it: vote for your friend.

Recently, at our school, we had an election for our freshman president, vice president, secretary of communication, secretary of "spirit", and treasurer. I had friends running in four of the categories. In one category, I voted for my friend because I thought they would be the best in that position. In another, I voted against my friend because I thought someone else that was running would be better suited for that job.

Oh well. That's what our generation is becoming, I suppose.

P.S. - In the last blog, I said we were mostly going to be talking about school, but another thing that will probably come up a lot is books, or entertainment in general, I guess.

well... here we go again.

I may or may not agree with the previous post regarding the possible development of this blog. Probably no one is ever going to see this thing, but I shall blog anyway. It's just a way of getting out your feelings, you know? (Ha! I said that as if someone were ACTUALLY reading it!)

School is probably going to be brought up a lot in this blog because (honestly) none of us has much else to do. There's not really time for anything else! School all day, homework all night, projects over the weekend. It's really too much. And I want good grades just for the sake of getting good grades so I can't just blow off the work (no matter how much it deserves to be blown off).

Wow. My first post and I'm already ranting on and on about school.

*WISHING US LUCK TO CONTINUE THIS BLOG*

and this shall be the first post.

This blog is totally going to be a fail.  I can sense it already.  But!  On the off chance that someone we don't know actually reads this, well then, POWER TO YOU.  And a big, 'ole thank you for that too.  :)  I think I'm going to blog about school ('cause it seems like it's the only thing I'm good at) and maybe keeping motivated and organized during school.  Yeah!  That's what I'm gonna write about.  I'll probably do random blogs here and there about random (obviously) things.  Just wait and see. Haha! :)
