Lauren (a.k.a. - kewlcucumber65) actually posted something today! It was a little odd to read, but hope she gets better! I'm going to see her tomorrow so it's pointless that I tell her here. And I've tried to post everyday, but I'm noticing that I keep forgetting until about nine. But that's not good because that's cutting it very close! If waited three more hours, I would miss a day! Granted, I'm sure I'll miss a day, but I'm trying to make sure that doesn't happen.
The other blogger, Gwendilyn is having problems with her laptop so it's preventing her from contributing right now. Hopefully she gets it fixed, but she has to use my laptop to read her textbook on a disc thing. So I'm definitely hoping she gets it fixed.
Lauren also brought up another thing that will be talked about a lot, which is books! All three of us love to read. I love to read the least out of the three, but they love to read a lot. So I just love to read. I'm very picky with the books I read because I can't just read a book because I need something to do. I have to be interested throughout majority of the book and that doesn't happen a lot for me.

One book (at this point) that has just blown me away was the Hunger Games. I love that book with all my heart. ALL OF IT. The series is wonderful because there's actual meaning to it other than other authors that just write because it's their job. Not that there's anything wrong with that because that's just how things are, but it seems like Suzanne Collins, author of the Hunger Games really wanted to send a message to her readers. I believe she wanted to show them that violence doesn't necessarily solve the problem, but shoves it aside momentarily. Kids these days are exposed to too much violence and they, meaning the kids, start to appreciate such violence. For example, video games. It's considered appropriate in a game to shoot other people and kill them for entertainment. That's just wrong to me. I understand that it's just a game, but people have to think of graphics for those kinds of things. I don't know. Maybe I'm just an anti-video gamologist or something.
Phew! I had a lot to say today! The Hunger Games will be coming up a lot. At least for me. I know one blogger who absolutely HATES (okay, maybe not hates but doesn't like) the Hunger Games.
